All About Debian
Debian is a linux distro introduced by Ian Murdock, a young man who, because of his girlfriend's frustration, until Ian used his maiden name Debra Lynn and took three letters in his first name and became "Deb" and his own name "Ian" hence the name of the Debian distribution supposedly very stable and supports 9 different architectures.

Is Debian much smoother than Windows 8.8.1 and 10?
Well if this device depends on the user if the devicenya god-level specification with 16Gb RAM, Octa core processor wiih cool really. If you have a laptop specification in quotation mark pas pasan it will be felt when just turning on Debian and windows. Debian with DE pekwm, or openbox consumes only 150MB of ram with total Ram 2 GB. But if you use windows then the use of ram when just booting up to half the total memory owned by the user This is influenced by the application that runs directly when the new laptop starts alias startup.
How do I install a package that is not in a debian repository?
Well if the problem package I really like with Ubuntu's app store because more and better appearance than synaptik. But do not worry debian also has an application for the installation package package installer. This application can install the file berexstensi. DEB with the easy application installed by click install. Well done
